“ What can I say….we went to this bar bistro because other friends had told us about it. At the counter we found a member of the place, a certain Gianfranco. An exquisite and affable person like few others. And so far so good. After that we saw the person in charge of the tables, Maria Giovanna, come out of the kitchen and in a very professional manner she listed all the dishes available. More than a bar, for the abundance of choice, it seemed like a starred restaurant!! We opted for the calamari with a side of grilled vegetables (having little time available) which they said were fresh that day. NEVER WAS A MORE RIGHT CHOICE. Chapeau!! All washed down with an excellent wine (a 2016 Tignanello). But the best is yet to come….we asked for the bill and to our great surprise they told us it was €50 total for 2 people (with a regular receipt!!). What can I say….FANTASTIC!! SINCERE COMPLIMENTS TO CHEF ALESSANDRO (owner of the restaurant and former alpine soldier, the reason why we initially decided to go and visit him). We will return soon and it will be our precise duty/pleasure to recommend it to all our friends. Thanks again ”
